Game on PC web browser vs mobile web prowser

The game works fine in any PC web browser. However, in my mobile web browser (Chrome on a moto g3), the game is glitchy. Squares are not changing colour when they should, and vice versa. Why would this be and is there any way to rectify this?

I used cocos2d-x-3.8.1 , game was written in Javascript.

PS- not even sure if it's possible to win my game FYI
