Mario-style physics

If not, what are settings to make similar physics world using physics engine (might be overkill to use it actually I know) like impassable blocks (I've played with density, still they act like a sponge) and gravity settings on Cocos2d-x v3.x .

Would be grateful to see one and probably not only me.
